I hope my Avanza still in good condition after get repaired by the panel workshop. If not, will consider of upgrading (or mybe downgrading....haha). My mileage also already 180K. |

Due to the spark plug issue, the small jerking appear every time the car under low timing, is irritating for me. Already repair many times still now improvement, the final action is to take out the engine block and check the valve, this will consider just like overhaul and need at least RM 1k. Seems the car already near 6 years and more or less other problems will starting to appear one by one, I decide just sell the car and get a new one. After survey for some time, the only MPV I can afford is only Alza. I got my car 4 days after I pay the down payment because Taiping had ready stock. I paid RM 63k (after 55% discount of NCD) for the 1.5 AT Premium version. |

Bro Ken, Maybe you want to share your Alza experience as compare to Avanza. For me, I found that Alza is more responsive (lighter body weight and bigger engine capacity) but engine noise is quite loud. Alza have smaller 3rd row leg room but overall smoother and more comfortable ride. The premium version comes with tinting, leather seat, GPS, skirting and reverse camera. |

Haven't declared myself as Ex-Avanza member yet as I'm still using it as my daily transportation. But for a long distance driving with my whole family, I preferred to drive my MOF new Vios. She received the car last month (27th July 2010) after waiting for about 3 weeks. Actually she decided to buy that car after my Avanza was accident at Karak Highway on last June (BBQ @ Lentang, trip). About our new vios, nothing much to say as I think everybody has an experience to drive it before. Never tried the top speed yet, but can easily reach 160km/h and with a good soundproof, I didn't notice that I was driving at that speed (thought just 120km/h). I've seat inside my friend's vios previously and he drive at 190km/h. His car was standard. About fuel consumption, so far for city drive, it's not so called good in fuel consumption. Full tank only can reached 400KM. Almost like Avanza lah...But I didn't invest with any fuel saver stuff yet (Ground cable, VS, K&N, extractor etc). The best part was the suspension. I think the standard suspension was already comfort. Only too high. Some of my friends from ViosZeroSeven.com club said that, the car look really nice if lowered. But you will sacrifice the comfort drive. But still planning to install Sapura Pro-Ride spring just for try-try only. If not satisfied, back to standard. Currently we just invest to the car for a cosmetic look only. Just install TRD V3 spoiler and change the 14" rim to 15" with 195/50/R15 Dunlop D1 tyres. Somebody would like to sell his used bodykit at RM350. Maybe tonight will get it from him. Hopefully my avanza still can serve me well. Hopefully until all my loan already paid... Posted Image |

Hi Bros, I have changed to Camry. Not much interesting post in the Camry club website. Still missed the Avanza Club adventurous mods. One thing I do missed is the rear wheel drive of Avanza. Cannot do the same crazy cornering like I have done with the Avanza. |

my avanza 1.3 (M) almost 4 years, 185,000km already, For the reason as i alway outstation and my wife wish to hv an auto car, i think it is time to change car. bro-bro & sis-sis do you hv any opinion? my budget is around 50K to 60K. look like only alza is in the range. now i may consider used car. looking for your advice. thank you |

I'm not changing my car yet..But now having a 2nd car which used by my wife. Just a normal Toyota Vios J Spec. But after add a lot of things, look like TRD Spec already. For a speed devil out there, this car is really good in term of top speed. Meter only 200KM/h max.. But even a standard one, can go until 210KM/h...But never dare to try it yet..hahaha |
