QUaLITY SINsIE Posts: 2,776 Group: AOCM Member #23 Joined: January 16, 2006	ongkh Jun 15 2008, 12:49 AM based on the estimated cost dollar averaging, mthly we'll hv rm50 to compensate the petrol price hike. juz take mine for instance :- mthly petrol b4 price hike = rm150, abt 78lit current petrol price hike = rm210, abt 78lit grand total = 210 - 150 - 50 = -ve rm10. if the owner top up more than 4x per mth, that's a big $$$$ spent on petrol. eventually, this rm625 is juz nice for a low usage like me... It is definitely true that the cost output (differential amount) is small for light users like you. I am also partly a light user. So the impact is not so great. :thumbup :thumbup For family appointment, most of the time whenever we can, we go in 1 car instead of meeting up in the same place using multiple cars. Of course, for work we have no choice. But travel planning have to be made. ;) ;) ;)

Just me Posts: 1,084 Group: AOCM Member #766 Joined: August 3, 2006	same as seizai, i'm too renewed my roadtax in mar-08, so i hv no choice but to wait til next year to get the rebate/subsidize (provided gomen did not change their mind so fast lor). And btw, this rebate is one-off for sure. Gomen also knows that they kenot afford to pay it out yearly cos it will make alot of citizen start stocking old cars!

Global Forum Posts: 9,371 Group: Moderator Member #25 Joined: January 16, 2006	the very recent of petrol price-reduced to the rm1.90 has proven that the govt still hv ''' little good heart''' compared to the prev poor performances which the ppl were anger abt. based on the past few mths of the lowered crude oil prices, the govt has actually gained lotsa profit margin rather than subsidised to the ppl. therefore, the future crude prices will determine the petrol prices on our road.
