Thank you for all the replies. I have even consult my company IT Dept to check if my laptop was "block". It was not and he had given his recommendation like what you all have given. Got to check the router and modem configuration, try direct using cable connection, try to logon in Starbuck or places where there is wifi. Thanks again, I will give try to all suggestions :tqvm |

Actually sometime you see the wireless connected doesn't mean you are connected to the broadband, Maybe is due to your router setting, have you configure the login and PS in your router setting........? :unsure |

i just had the same problem. It's due to the wireless router setting. Make sure you set "obtain ip automatically" for the router. Forget about the "virtual adsl setup" bla bla bla. |

This is the answer cause normaly auto DHCP the DNS point to ur router. Bro Jamala edit ur notebook wireless DNS server and put in. DNS 1 202.188.0.133 DNS 2 202.188.1.5 |

Your router is 4in1 type...?? Meaning built in modem, router, switch & wireless....?? If yes, you need to login to the router to configure the user setup. exmaple: The below is my Aztech login ip http://192.168.1.1/cgi-bin/webcm Once you log into the main page it will prompt you to key in the password. normally aztech default has no password, so you just press enter. Once you login the setup page, you have to key in the user name & password. Tunyau is right the name has to follow with XXX@streamyx then password. Select the PPPOE if I'm not wrong. If you have problem doing that, you can call me tonight after 7pm. I can guide you on the phone. You don't need to configure the DNS, leave it as Auto. Regards, ocmax |

Bro Jamala, If ur problem haven't solved, tomorrow I can go to ur house, or better u bring the modem to my house. I use D-Link wireless router, can compare the settings side-by-side. There should be a system log screen, which will tell you what's wrong. Normally, for wireless with open AP and WEP/WPA password set, you can still be connected by cannot access the network if the password is wrong. But I think there should not be any password if u didn't set one. |

My daughters laptop also cannot login to any web. Decided to send to Thunder Match Technology, Carrefour where I bought from. They tried other laptops there still cannot. At last got to leave the router for them to investigate and will call me tonite either replace or repaired. Bro ppfoong, thanks for your offer. I will call you if still not solved. |

I think you have not configure the router, you can connect through wifi for sure but you won't able to surf net because it has not connected to the ISP. The configuration is a must. |

I think if you send back the router to them without providing them youe login info, they won't able to help you to configure. They will only test out their login, once can login they will pass you back the router. If you have problem configuring the router, just give me a call, I'll guide you on the phone. but you need to check the O&M your router IP adress. |
