Hi all, Besides my other products, now offer Folding Steering Wheel Lock It is made in China. Like all other locks. Item is new. The key to remove the lock is special like Mercedes key. Meaning u cant duplicate it. It wont take up a lot of space cause it is fold together. After folding it is about 13inches.. Can use as a weapon for protection if u like. Price is rm95 nett. Market price for this is around rm120. This product is better than those u see at Giant or Carrefour thanks. Those after u use a while, u will put it in the boot n never use it again. Like me. Good for girls. Done survey already. Please contact: 012-2908159 Location:KL/PJ Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image |

Unfortunately This product is no assurance to your car being stolen. Most steering locks are inadequate to prevent a theft since our steering wheel are made of plastics and can be easily cut with a light saw or a strong cutter and the steering lock is rendered useless in seconds. I dont recommend this product as it only visually deters but does not prevent a theft. It is pointless that the keys are not duplicable since the place where it locks can be easily compromised. It would be better to get this lock: Posted Image At least the hardest part is locked (which is the brake paddle) and it is near impossible to saw off within minutes. |

Thanks for clarifying, IN that case, the steering wheel can still be removed and a replacement wheel be installed - just takes a while longer. Still does not prevent a theft in reality. |

Are U using this for your Avanza bro? Thinking of getting one so just gathering feedback on it, is it - easy to deploy and use? - easy to unlock? - easy to store away (in the car)? any portions pointing out? I heard somewhere before this lock got immitation ... any idea how to identify the ori? |

There are plenty of cheap steering locks around if one is trying to "visually" deter potential car jackers - this one on sale isn't cheap. Too many people bought steering locks thinking it would prevent theft But if one is serious about preventing theft, i suppose the build-in paddle lock is a good option. |

Yes I use this lock for my 'Avangsta'. Posted Image The pic of the lock is taken from Jusco - and i bought mine at Jusco - i suppose that is original. I bought mine at RM139 - now offer only RM99. So it is worth it. Easy to deploy and store away. |
