At 3.30am this morning, my neighbour's Wira was stolen right in front of his house. Despite al the alarm system that was installed, he had failed to put in a Steering Lock to deter the theft....

I only got to know of this incident this morning...

Ladies & Gentlemen of this forum.... please be on your guard and tighten your car's security!!!

wahh.... usj2 getting more cars stolen, i think they are on the move at that area.. targeting one area before this thieves move on to the next area...

one thing is because, most got 2-3 cars.. and always at least 1 car has to be parked outside..

i think they probably been rounding that area to see which car comes back wat time etc... sigh..

have to be more careful..

i hate those thieves  :no-no :thumbdown :angry2:

I heard nowadays syndicate using laser disarming gun and master key.... can be done in 5-mins....

Heard that with this gadget, all alarms & immobilisers are disarmed.... long enough for the crooks to get into the car and start the engine.... :angry2:

A little HEART WARMING NEWS for everyone to know....

My neighbour whose car was stolen has finally BEEN FOUND.

Thanks to 'Thinking Cops' on ronda.... it was found in an Indian village somewhere near Telok Gong, Klang..

Apparently, the car broke down and cannot move or can only move very very slowly and so it was parked beside a lane. These two cops on ronda noticed the car there for 2 days - in the same spot so decided to investigate.

They found the number plate and Roadtax disc differ in number and checked with HQ in Klang and found out it was stolen the week before!!!! My neighbour was called in to identify and confirmed it was his car.

The thieves apparently did not use any sophisticated gadget to unlock the car. All they did was break open the side-signal panel (found in all Proton cars) and somehow short-circuited the central locking system, enough to open the doors and drove away using a MASTER key....

KUDOS to our cops.... whom sometimes we blame for being inefficient..... :sorry :sorry :sorry

good that at least ur neighbour found back the car... at least i hope all is still intact...

last time my friend's putra went missing, found back only naked body... he rather if he didn't find it..

well it just shows how easy is it to short central locking system... but wat im more worried is the usage of the master key.... now tat's scary.. a key that opens all..

just wondering, most cars central locking system can be just tap by shorting a wire??... wat about ours?.. smash our rear lights how... short wan ar?.. would VS actually help in preventing this..?

...and help I shall!

Yes, your comprehensive policy covers fire!

For the flood thingy - which many ppl has asked in the spate of floodings in KL/Sgor... it is an additional cover with additional premium... just like your windsceen cover.

The premium = 0.5% of your vehicle's sum insured.

For comparison, windscreen premium = 15% of your windscreen's sum insured

installation took quite some time as it need to be in the perfect position so it works best..

but once complete, usage is easy as 1-2-3.. to lock just pull
to unlock- insert key and turn and it unlocks itself by releasing backwards.. :D
